Moving Forward in 2021
As we head into 2021, The Hope Box plans to remain diligent at reaching mothers and babies in crisis. This week in our staff meeting, we discussed a few ways we plan to extend our reach this year in order to be as productive as possible.
One of our biggest goals in 2021 is to rev up our marketing strategy. We are excited to be launching our new website at the beginning of March. We hope to include more real-life stories centered around what we do, as well as making the site more informational, organized, and easy to navigate. We plan to have informational videos, as well as a weekly blog that will keep you up-to-date on Hope Box news.
Also, we have recently launched a new texting app that will be an easy way for us to stay in touch with our volunteers and donors. We know that finding the best way to communicate in this age of information overload is key! We hope this will be a viable option for you. We promise not to overload you with texts and vow to only send out pertinent information.
Other primary goals in 2021 include assisting as many in-crisis mothers as possible by getting our information into communities. With our website, we are transitioning from a local vibe into one that has a national appearance. In doing this, we hope to partner with teams in other states who will take on our mission as their own. Billboards and commercials are another way we hope to spread the word. We’ve also waded into the world of podcasts and have been posting regularly since the end of December.
This weekend, Saturday, January 23rd, we are offering training classes via Zoom and look forward to growing our team of volunteers. Also, on February 13th, we are hosting our annual Valentine’s Ball fundraiser at the Governor’s Town Club in Acworth. Please visit our website if you would like to attend or be a sponsor.
Our team is currently working on revamping The Hope Box’s core values, vision, and mission statement. We look forward to navigating through 2021 with unwavering faith, strength and determination.
