SEX TRAFFICKED INFANTS
Infants are trafficked for two main reasons: sexual exploitation, and for organs.
In 2017 we amended the Georgia safe haven law. We continue to work with legislature to protect at-risk mothers and infants.
In 2019 there were 22,000 infants abandoned in hospitals. These infants were free for discharge, but had nowhere to go.
