Does The Hope Box offer community service hours?
The Hope Box does not offer community service at this time.
Can I adopt through The Hope Box?
The Hope Box is NOT a licensed adoption agency. Therefore, we are unable to place babies for adoption. If you are interested in adopting a Safe Haven baby, your first step is to find a licensed adoption attorney to finalize a home study for you. Please make sure your home study is transferable from one agency to another.
Does The Hope Box have actual boxes for babies?
Originally when The Hope Box was established, it was created to put boxes in 24/7 medical emergency locations. The Hope Box still hopes to bring boxes to communities.
Where can I donate items?
Donated items can be mailed to the Hope Box’s P.O. Box:

or they can be dropped off at Desktop Coworking Community in Kennesaw, 3070 N Main St, Kennesaw, GA 30144. We ask that a staff member be contacted if items will be dropped off so that we can coordinate a pick up.

How can I schedule a Safe Haven training?
The Hope Box is Georgia’s experts on the Safe Haven law. We amended the law in 2017 to include fire, police, and health departments to be Safe Haven Providers along with hospitals. The Hope Box offers trainings on the Safe Haven law and proper procedures. We also offer an accreditation program for organizations who would like to become Safe Haven certified. Is The Hope Box considered a Safe Haven location?
The Hope Box is the Safe Haven chapter in the state of Georgia. The Safe Haven law now says a mother has 30 days from birth to abandon her baby at a fire station, police station, or hospital. The mother is not required to leave her personal information, but may if willing.
How can we partner with The Hope Box?
